Fred Elliott-Hart, Sr. Pastor



  Fred worked as a social worker for 9 years in the U.S. and Jamaica    

  before becoming a pastor. He is passionate about being part of a multi-

  ethnic church and sharing the good news of Jesus with people who are

  hurting and hungry for some good news. He earned an M.Div. from

  Fuller Seminary, an M.A. and M.S.W. from Boston College  and his A.B.

  from Brown University. He has been married to Teri for 23 years and

  they live in Roslindale with their three kids, Dylan, Paul and Sadie. He

  has served Covenant Congregational Church as Sr. Pastor since 2005.

Christina Tinglof, Assoc. Pastor


Christina not only grew up in Boston but she also grew up at Covenant Congregational Church. She fell in love with urban youth ministry while working in Camden, NJ at Urban Promise after college and has been doing it ever since. She has an M.Div. from Northpark Seminary and a B.A. from Colby College. She lives in Jamaica Plain with her husband, Michael. Christina joined the pastoral staff at Covenant Congregational Church in 2007.

      Sadiemarie Mayes, Music Director


       Sadiemarie came on board at Covenant Congregtational in April

       2014 to the church's delight. She has been playing music in  

       church since she was nine years old and has been Music Director

       at several different churches over the years. She brings a wealth

       of experience and brings the best of a variety of musical styles

       that make up the "heart music" of this church's multi-ethnic,

       intergenerational congregation, from hymns to spirituals, and

       gospel to contemporary Christian. She and her husband, Larry, 

       are parents to two adult daughters.

James Foy, Custodian


James joined the church staff as Custodian in January 2015. He became a member of the church in 2014 and can be spotted holding down the bass section of the choir most Sunday mornings.



Scott Roby, Security Officer


Scott is a also a Boston native and lives near the church with his wife, Karen. Scott joined the church in 2012 and took on the role of Security Officer in 2013. Along with Karen and three others from the church, Scott recieved an Excellence in Christian Service Award from Gordon-Conwell Seminary in April 2014 for his role in helping start The Rest Stop, the church's drop-in center for people struggling with homelessness.
