What to Expect

When you visit Covenant Congregational Church you'll experience a warm welcome and a fresh taste of the goodness of God.

If you drive, you'll find street parking in front of and behind the church. We are a four minute walk from Forest Hills Station on the Orange Line if you take   public transportation.

When you enter the sanctuary, you'll notice a

beautiful and traditional worship space that is    brimming with life: new and old friends greeting one another while young adults, older adults, children      and teenagers make their way in. The worship service  reflects the best of traditional  and fresh worship expressions as our music reflects the diversity of our multi-ethnic and intergenerational congregation. We sing hymns, contemporary praise and worship songs, gospel and other styles because we want to include    the "heart music" of everyone in the church when it comes to worshiping God   together. One Sunday the choir will sing a piece by Bach and another Sunday,       a gospel song.  You may hear  the organ one week, guitar and drums the next.

Each week you'll hear an engaging message from one of our pastors that is rooted in the message of the Bible, centered on Jesus and the life he offers, and is applicable to everyday life. On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate Communion together. Everyone who loves the Lord Jesus is welcome to participate.

The service ends around 12:15 and afterwards  many people make their way downstairs for coffee hour. This is a great chance to get to know other people, connect with new or old friends, or just enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack.

We look forward to getting to know you!
